Rodney Irwin, MA
Chairman of the Board Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic for Canada.

  • 1972-74: joined Department of External Affairs, Ottawa
  • 1978-1980: served abroad in New-Delhi, Moscow & Port of Spain
  • 1988-1990: High Commissioner
  • 1992: named Ambassador to Yugoslavia; due to the war with Croatia,
    served as Ambassador to Albania, Bulgaria, Slovenia & Croatia
  • 1993-96: Ambassador to Hungary while retaining his Balkan country accreditations
  • 1999-2003: Ambassador to the Russian Federation with concurrent
    accreditation to the Republics of Armenia & Uzbekistan
  • 2003: retired to Ottawa after 32 years in the foreign service

Robert Mackay, B Sc Mining
President, CEO & Director 20 years experience in the capital markets

  • Worked in various facets of mineral exploration (diamond drilling, geophysics, geological mapping & prospecting)
  • 1975: graduated from the Haileybury School of Mines
  • Gained extensive experience in mining, mine planning, surveying,
    grade control, industrial engineering, open pit & underground production
  • 1980: graduated & obtained a mining engineering degree from The South
    Dakota School of Mines Technology
  • Was Vice President of two national brokerage firms over his successful 20 year career in investment business
  • 2000: started private consulting business
  • Consulted as Project Engineer in Canada, the US, China and Africa

Boris Aryev, M Sc, P. Eng

  • 1972–1982: worked in regal branch of Central Research Institute of Communication Science of the Ministry of Communications of the USSR

  • 1983-1986 software development consultant with NCR Canada Limited & OPTIMOD Inc.
  • 1986-1996: Consultant with Verifact Inc.
  • 1990 on: President of Marhope Systems Inc., provides management/consulting
    services to public & private sectors
  • 1991: founding Director of Canada-Eurasia-Russia Business Association as well as founder and chairman of its Mining & Northern Development Committees

  • Senior Consultant with Nuclear Assurance Corporation (USA); responsible for consulting on Uranium supp ly strategy & maintaining worldwide uranium production projects database
  • MBA in strategic planning & finance

  • 1981-1989: was Deputy Chief Geologist of Kara-Balty Uranium mining enterprise in Kyrgyzstan
  • 1989-1996: Chief Geologist of Kara-Balty
  • 1996: moved into gold sector as Chief Geologist for state owned gold company, Kyrgyzaltyn
